The ultimate green lantern layout lasted for nearly two years. Technology moves forward; it looked good on my 1024x768 resolution two years ago, but on new 1280x960 it appeared cramped and tiny and the menu was nearly unreadable.

Flowers and pixiedust have never been my favorite design elements. I came up with the idea of glass lily while rummaging through my old layouts - one of them sporting a high-quality glass mint leaf. First draft of the layout was awfully, sickeningly sweet; it got trashed immediately.
I couldn't come up with any other sketches though... The glass lily was still on my mind. Xynatla has always been dark, elegant and absolutely not modern. I wanted to keep that aura. Finally, I found a perfect red rose and managed to cook up a decent layout. To be honest, I don't really like so many brushes - so much stuff that is not mine - used for this design, but... There were no alternatives.
At least coding was fun. Current version 6.2. was tested in Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 and Opera 9.24. No problems were encountered. Supported resolutions start from 800x600, but at least 1024x768 is recommended.
Main layout is valid XHTML 1.0. Transitional and valid CSS 2.1. Some of removable content - such as news in archive or site descriptions in collective - may be too old to be valid, but this should not affect overall performance of the site.
